Leaf Study

My photographs deal with issues such as awnings and skylights for energy efficiency, reducing water runoff with alternatives to impermeable surfaces, fountains using recycled water, protection of waterways from unwanted invaders, sustainable wood construction, enticing public transportation, etc. By mirroring my unique panoramic photograph and then copying that to turn it into square format, it becomes an ideal format which then can divided into parts. In this way, the utility boxes are visually intriguing from any viewpoint and draw people in to try to figure out the imagery and to learn about sustainability issues by doing so.
